Hood-edge rubber seal — fitment issue and rattle

Rubber seals/gaskets at the hood edge (at the fender/wing area, near the hood latch) can shift or fall off, causing a noticeable noise/rattle over bumpy roads and speed bumps. A similar seal exists on both sides of the hood; if one is missing, the noise increases noticeably. The part should be factory-installed and is available through OEM channels, but exact part identification is difficult — no confirmed part number was found in the community discussion ^{12345678910111213}.
