Rear washer not spraying — troubleshooting
Symptom: the rear washer motor runs (audible) and the electrics test fine (fuses checked), but no fluid actually sprays from the rear nozzle 1.
Troubleshooting checklist, in the order the community recommends checking: 1. Confirm the washer-fluid reservoir actually has fluid in it 2. 2. Check whether a hose has disconnected somewhere in the line 23. 3. Check for a clogged/blocked nozzle 2. 4. Start with the cabin-to-door tube transition — inspect the tubing at the point where it crosses from the cabin into the door/tailgate for cracks; a cracked tube in this transition can leak all the washer fluid internally before it ever reaches the nozzle. Look for visible wet spots/stains as a diagnostic clue 34. 5. Alternatively, a tube may have simply popped off its connection at the transition or at the nozzle fitting, rather than being cracked — check both possibilities 4.
Recommended starting point: begin inspection at the cabin-to-door/tailgate transition area specifically, since that's the most commonly cited failure point for internal leaks in this system.
