Roof rails and cargo rack fitment

CS35 Plus cargo racks can be fitted to the X80's roof rails, but they require modification: the X80 has a triangular roof-rail cross-section that does not match the standard rack mounts. One owner cut approximately 50mm and 80mm off the rack ends to get proper fitment, and recommends additional modification to improve mounting security beyond the basic cut. Cosmetic downside: the protruding mount covers look unfinished after the modification ¹.
