Window deflector installation

Tags: #installation · #part-number

Window deflectors can be installed on the X80 without any special modification ¹. Fit is good on the passenger side, with a tight seam ². On the driver side, the deflector may need a slight angle adjustment at one corner for a perfect fit ². Overall installation is straightforward and reduces wind noise at highway speeds ³.

Correct part number and aftermarket fitment warning: the correct part number for FAW X80 window deflectors is FAW1315011, compatible with 2013–2022 model years. Warning: some aftermarket part numbers (e.g. Cobra Tuning F11018) do not fit correctly on post-2018 models — the deflector overhangs the mirror bracket by 2–5 cm. The FAW1315011 deflector with factory FAW branding fits correctly. Price range: 1,190–1,300 RUB (RU market, August 2024) from Russian suppliers ⁴⁵⁶⁷.
