DTC codes (code → meaning, verbatim)

C131000 was read on a Bestune X80 from the ABS/EPS module of a FAW diagnostic app (V2.00.027, vehicle software V13.70) at 44,328.10 km on 2024-11-05, before repair. The extracted report does not show the status column, so it is unknown whether the fault was active or stored. An open circuit means the sensor wiring or connector is broken or disconnected and the signal is lost, so check the rear wheel speed sensor, its wiring and connector before replacing the sensor; the report gives no repair procedure.¹ For wheel-speed-sensor damage stories see ABS sensor damage from a pothole and the ABS tone ring identification.

ABS/ESP circuit (wiring diagram page 1107)

From the X80 wiring diagram page 1107, "Brake Electronic Stability Program" (ESP, electronic stability program).² - Fuses: ABS\ESP 5A (Si57), ABS\ESP2 40A (Si12), ABS\ESP1 25A (Si8). - ABS/ESP control unit: F33. - Wheel speed sensors: F18 front left, F40 front right, ABL1 rear left, ABR1 rear right. - Steering angle sensor: I35. - The control unit is fed from the relay block I25/I26 (IGN1 Relay 1, IGN2 Relay 2 and ACC feed) with ignition switch I34 positions. The ESP/Start-stop Off switch is cross-referenced to page 1125, the BCM to 1117 and the gateway control unit to 1113. - Connector pins 1-38 are printed but the extracted text does not map them, so use this for fuse and component identification, not pin tracing.

Electric parking brake circuit (wiring diagram page 1108)

From page 1108, "Electric Parking Brake System".³ - Fuses as printed: BNT 40A (Si1), EPB 30A (Si34), PKE EPB 5A (Si58), Room Light 10A (Si54). A "2.0L&MT" note appears near the EPB fuse; its association is unclear. - EPB control unit R29; EPB switch R34; left EPB motor ABL2 and right EPB motor ABR2 (connector pins 1 and 2, + and -). - Cross-references: clutch switch FS1 (manual transmission) page 1101; reverse switch 1104; brake light switch 1117; gateway control unit 1113; PKE controller 1119; small light dimmer 1125. The backlight operating indication is on the same circuit.
