Prices and suppliers on this page are Russian-market (RUB, at the dates shown). Verify locally before relying on them in Syria.
Some advice here concerns sub-zero winters and is less relevant in a hot climate.
Owners disagree on whether drilled (perforated) discs are worth buying for the X80. For standard discs see front brake discs and rear brake discs.
Owner impressions
- One owner bought perforated discs on Ozon and has run them on all four wheels for about a year; he says they look good and do their job.12
- Another member disagrees: perforation only changes the look and costs extra, because the discs brake the same. Neither side gave a braking measurement.3
Painted drilled discs: strip the paint?
A buyer of drilled discs for another car asked whether the paint must be removed before fitting, because buyers had reported poor braking until the paint wore off. The reply was not to remove anything, since the paint wears off in use; no measured result was given.45
NiBK sets fitted (Oct 2026)
One owner listed NiBK parts for the car: front disc set RN1515DSET with pads PN8009, and rear disc set RN1208DSET with pads PN5203. The "DSET" suffix most likely means a disc set; this is inferred, not stated. His photo after fitting (24 October 2026) shows drilled discs painted magenta behind an alloy wheel with 215/60 R17 IKON Tyres winter tyres.67 Mixed reviews of RN1515DSET from earlier threads are in the front brake discs card; a rear Ozon pair listing is in the rear brake discs card.
NiBK listings on Ozon
Ozon lists NiBK RN1516DSET (front perforated disc for Mazda Atenza / CX-5) and NiBK Performance RN1515DSET (front sport disc for Mazda 6 GH); a member reports poor reviews for the sport disc, and fitment to the X80 is not confirmed. See front brake discs.8910
