An owner of a 2019 push-button-start (keyless) X80 asked the community about installing an aftermarket alarm with remote/auto-start, including which brand and installer to use in Moscow.1
Key technical requirement — a bypass module. Because the car uses push-button start rather than a physical key, installing this kind of alarm requires a bypass module ("обходчик"/immobilizer bypass), and fitting that bypass means sacrificing a second key (it gets sewn/embedded into the system rather than kept as a spare). One owner declined to install an alarm for exactly this reason — not wanting to give up the second key — though they noted newer, more modern alarm systems may exist that avoid this trade-off.2
Confirmed working setup. A separate owner did go through with this: the second key was sewn into the dashboard panel (to preserve it as the required bypass component while keeping push-button start working), paired with a Starline E96 alarm. This setup has run 4+ years without issues.3
