DIAGZONE PRO diagnostic software (beta v029) is available on carbugs.ru for OBD/scanner tools used with the FAW X80.¹

v029 vs. v027. Version v029 is an improvement over the earlier v027 release: it reduces false/phantom error codes (фантомные ошибки) and has an improved Russian-language interface translation for better clarity.¹

Installation recommendation. Uninstall the old v027 version completely before installing v029, to avoid conflicts and ensure a full software reload.¹

Clearing engine error codes via OBD adapter (2025-10 report). Engine error codes can be cleared using an OBD adapter with the CarScanner app (this is a paid feature within the app). Community members raised the question of FAW X80 compatibility but no confirmed test result was reported in the thread — treat as unverified for the X80 specifically.⁷⁸
