ELM327 Bluetooth adapter — setup and X80 coverage

What it can read on the X80. On the pre-restyle X80 a standard ELM327 reads only the engine ECU (ЭБУ). On the restyle car it also reads the automatic gearbox (АКПП); one owner saw a gearbox fault logged after a low-battery-voltage event that the dashboard never showed. Clearing a gearbox fault requires the engine to be switched off. One member claims an ELM327 cannot see the car's data at all, so results are reported as inconsistent 123.

Live-data example. A cheap ELM-type scanner app shows fuel trims, MAP and the O2 sensor. A video frame at idle shows engine load 23.9 %, coolant 90 C, short-term fuel trim -0.8 %, long-term fuel trim 0.8 %, intake manifold absolute pressure 33 kPa and bank-1 O2 sensor 0.115 V; the same thread notes that a DiagZone-based scanner costs more than about 4,000-5,000 RUB (RU market, Feb 2026), a lower bound rather than a quote 456.

Product listed. DriveSync Pro ELM327 OBD2 v1.5 (Bluetooth 5.1, PIC18F25K80 chip, Android and iOS) is listed on Ozon as an adapter for reading the X80; no price was given and no one reported using it 7.

Manual specifications (ELM 327 Bluetooth, Shenzhen JiaWei Technology). Supply 12 V, current up to 150 mA, operating temperature -25 to +40 C, dimensions 87 x 48 x 25 mm, warranty 12 months from sale. OBD-II protocols: ISO 9141-2, ISO 14230-2 (KWP2000), SAE J1850 VPW, SAE J1850 PWM and ISO 15765-4 CAN. It presents a Bluetooth virtual COM port with default pairing name ELM327 (or OBDII) and PIN 1234. The manual also names an ELM 327 Bluetooth Mini; only the standard model has LED indicators 8.

Pairing steps from the manual. Plug the adapter into the OBD-II socket and make sure Bluetooth is on in the device, search for "ELM327" (or "OBDII") and pair with PIN 1234. On a PC install the Bluetooth chipset driver, find the outgoing COM port in the driver settings (or create one for "ELM327"), tick "connect automatically" if offered, and enter that outgoing port in the diagnostic software. On Android go to Settings > Wireless networks > Bluetooth, pair "ELM327", start the diagnostic app, choose a Bluetooth connection and assign ELM327 as the paired device. The software is not supplied: the user has to find and install it 8.

Обороты двигателя, а это вот расход топлива, температура. Вот они развернутые. Я еще сам не разобрался, я что-то забыл про него, обещал скинуть и забыться. Вот абсолютное давление в пусном коллекторе, это кратковременный расход коррекции, это долговременное. Вот эти вот параметры надо смотреть. Вот вроде нормально у меня все. 33 тоже хорошо. Тут еще можно плюсовать, добавлять. Здесь еще. Но я не разобрался, я сказал что покажу и забыл про него. Беду, вот показываю. Вот 0,8, расход топлива на холостых оборотах. У меня включена музыка, я ее не включал. Горят у меня ходовые огни и печка работает. Ключу габариты не прибавляется. Ключу фары. Видишь, 0,9 прибавился. А если дальний свет? Нет, тоже не прибавился. Ну вот 0,9 на холостых. С мужиком разговаривал, знаком, он говорит хороший показатель вот эти все у тебя. Нормально как бы для двигателя 170 тысяч прошел. Видишь, появилось больше немножко, абсолютно давление 34, потому что свет включал. Сейчас она выровняется, опять будет 33. Ну до 35, говорят. Вот, видишь, 33-30. Ну сейчас она выровняется. До 35, говорят, она это самая. Нормально. У меня работают все приборы, да и свет и музыка. Если выключить все, она будет нормально. Короче, вот это вот кому-то обещал я, короче, скидываю.
