Fog/parking light fuse (5A) blowing

WSM module as a third diagnostic path. For the case where rear fog lights don't illuminate and/or parking lights cut out when the rear fogs are engaged, a third module worth checking (alongside the fuse and rear door harness above) is the WSM (body control module variant) mounted on the driver-side door pillar. Access: peel back the rubber sill trim, remove a 10mm bolt securing the plastic cover, and the module is accessible behind it. Cleaning or reseating its connections has restored function in this scenario 12.

Symptom: fog lights and parking lights (габариты/противотуманки) not illuminating. Inspection found a blown 5A fuse supplying these circuits 345. Simple fix is to replace with a new 5A fuse. If the fuse keeps blowing (2+ times), investigate wire chafing in the rear (fifth) door's electrical harness — moisture ingress or the harness rubbing against something can short the circuit there, and this is called out as a known weak point 67. One owner also found loose connector contacts in the fuse block itself and recommends making sure contacts are clean and dry when replacing a fuse 89.

Same symptom, front bumper wiring instead of the rear-door harness. A separate case: front and rear parking lights plus the rear fog lights all stopped working together, while the turn signals kept working normally on the same circuit area — turn signals are wired independently from parking lights/headlights, confirmed by continuity-testing the fuses per the wiring diagram 101112. Diagnostic order: (1) check the fuse — note it may not be blown, since if the turn signals still work the fault could be downstream of a shared fuse; (2) if a blown fuse is found, look for wire chafing under the front bumper, along the bumper reinforcement bar — this is a recurring failure point separate from the rear-door harness case above 13.
