Immobilizer antenna coil winding
Tags: #immobilizer
The immobilizer chip is read by a wire wound in a spiral pattern acting as an antenna, transmitting to a reader coil (typically around the ignition-lock barrel). The number of turns and the winding tension are both critical — even a slight variation in either can break the signal and prevent the immobilizer from recognizing the key. Rewinding the coil with the identical original specifications (same turn count, same tension) restores function 123456.
