To stop the mirrors from automatically folding every time the alarm is armed/disarmed (annoying in winter), one owner documented a hardware modification: locate the pink wire in the driver-door wiring harness (under the door card), cut it, extend both ends out, and wire in a manual push-button switch. This lets the mirrors fold only on a deliberate button press, rather than automatically with the siren/alarm — requires opening up the door card ¹²³. Alternative without opening the door: a dealer can disable auto-fold via software reprogramming, at roughly 1000–1500 RUB (RU market, 2024) ¹.

Motivation for all of this: unstable regional climate (rain followed by frost) makes automatic folding particularly annoying to owners in some regions during winter ¹². Combined with the dealer-side "comfort block" reprogramming already documented above, an authorized dealer can also do this with a factory diagnostic scanner rather than only the informal service-menu route ¹³.
