Auxito LED reverse lights can make the backup camera look like it's stuck in reverse. After installing Auxito-brand LED backup/reverse lights, the backup-camera display can appear permanently active/in "reverse mode," showing constant illumination even when not actually reversing. Suspected cause: the camera has a built-in backlight sensor, and the LED's brightness is enough to trigger it into a constant-on state. Suggested check: whether wiring a resistor inline with the reversing-light diodes prevents the constant triggering. Results with other LED brands were inconsistent in earlier attempts; point-style LEDs with a good side-beam pattern performed better than flood-style LEDs for this specific interference issue 1234.

360° LED backup lights — recommended, durable, widely available. 360°-type LED backup lights (diodes arranged in a full circle around the lamp base rather than a single horizontal line) are recommended for reliable long-term operation — one owner reports 6+ months of trouble-free use as of May 2024, sourced from the Ozon marketplace. The circular diode arrangement gives better far-field light distribution and a cleaner beam cutoff on lensed housings compared to standard single-row backup bulbs 5678910.
