Temperature gauge stuck at zero
Some owners report the temperature gauge on the instrument cluster stuck at zero (or with the gauge/indicator apparently absent) even though the engine is running normally and producing heat — warm air from the vents confirms the engine itself is fine 1234. Suspected causes: a wire break to the coolant temperature sensor (ОЖ датчик) or sensor failure itself 5. When this happens, the cooling fans still appear to run in an emergency/default mode rather than being driven by an actual temperature reading 5. The issue may be intermittent rather than constant.
Conflict: diagnosis wasn't fully settled in-thread — a wire break and a failed sensor were both offered as plausible, with no confirmed resolution reported 56.
