Exhaust flex tube (gofra) replacement

Tags: #exhaust · #price · #part-number · #conflict

Correct size — resolved conflict. The correct exhaust flex tube ("gofra") size is 55×120mm, NOT 50×100mm, despite some online sources and kitparts.ru listing the smaller size. Some sources (an older chat discussion, a Drive2 post) had claimed 55×120mm; kitparts.ru listed 50×100mm. Community measurement and consensus: 55×120mm is correct, and 50×100mm may be undersized for this application. When ordering, explicitly specify 55×120. Verify fitment with calipers — the original muffler connection point measures approximately 54mm diameter.^{12345678910111213141516171819202122232425}

Replacement trigger. If the gofra shows visible damage (starting to burn through), replacement is needed. Installation requires welding.^{12345678910111213141516171819202122232425}

Cost. Podolsk region (Moscow suburbs): 1,200 RUB for the gofra part + 1,500 RUB labor (~15 minutes of work) (RU market, June 2025). Moscow city cost was reported higher, at 7,500 RUB total (RU market, June 2025) for the same job — significant regional price variance.^{12345678910111213141516171819202122232425}

Product example. TRIALLI FT 0018 is a 55×120mm stainless-steel vibration compensator/flex tube with wire-mesh reinforcement (Hydra brand line), available on Ozon.ru. Owners inquiring about this part have compared metal-braided gofra options against other construction types.²⁴²⁵

Second product example — reinforced interlock hose (2025-11 report). A separate reinforced/interlocking exhaust gofra, brand EuroEX, part 55x120il, matching the community-confirmed 55×120mm size above, is available on Ozon.²⁶
