Fuel pump seal — behavior and cross-fit

Seal ring is critical for pressure delivery. Activation timing — momentary vs. continuous. Cross-brand fuel pump compatibility. - A VAZ 2108 fuel pump was asked about as a possible substitute; one reply confirms it matches by geometry, though performance/output specifics weren't confirmed in this thread¹²¹³¹⁴. - Separately, after the factory (Russian-market) fuel pump failed after about 2 years in service, one owner replaced it with a BOSCH pump originally purchased for a Kia Ceed back in 2020 — reported as a working cross-fit, though long-term durability wasn't yet established at time of posting¹⁵.

Part numbers and a VAZ 2110 cross-fit confirmation. The FAW X80's fuel pump assembly part number is FA031335XAP1; the individual pump-only part number is FA031335XP1. As an alternative, the VAZ 2110 fuel pump (roughly 800 RUB, RU market, Jan 2025) is reported to fit 1:1 and function equivalently. The associated fuel filter part number is FC0160950 (roughly 340 RUB, RU market, Jan 2025). Some owners prefer the Bosch motor found inside the OEM module over aftermarket replacement modules; a Mapco pump with an integral fine filter was also suggested as an option^{16171819202122}.

Mapco 22760 — a specific fuel pump listing, from the second Telegram group. A separate community (FAW BESTURN X80 group) points to a specific fuel pump product: Mapco 22760, available from the EMEX e-commerce retailer — consistent with the Mapco-brand fuel pump already mentioned as an option on this card, giving it a concrete part number²³.

Руслан Кот saw this pump at 3,000-5,000 RUB on Yandex (RU market, Oct 2026) and Arсhi 77 says Ozon is about the same (RU market, Oct 2026), noting that all sellers use one article number; fitment on the X80 was not confirmed ²⁸²⁹.
