Front oxygen sensor — cost and alternatives

Tags: #bosch · #part-number

OEM cost. The original front oxygen sensor costs approximately 5,000 RUB (October 2024, RU market)¹².

BOSCH aftermarket alternative. BOSCH part number 0258006967 was named as one aftermarket option worth investigating³. Only around four BOSCH part numbers total are compatible with the X80 — described in the thread as "not that many" options to sort through³. One member notes the BOSCH replacement is effectively cross-sourced "from a Zhiguli/VAZ" (i.e. a Lada-family part) and requires a connector change to fit the X80's harness⁴. No one in this thread reported having personally done the swap themselves at time of posting³.

Bosch aftermarket equivalent — rewiring required. First and second oxygen sensors are identical in construction (same connectors and length, only the wire length differs). Bosch part 0 258 005 133 is confirmed to work as a replacement for the factory FAW X80 lambda sensor, but requires rewiring the connector (matching wire colors between the Bosch sensor and the factory harness). An alternative part number, 5DA0-18-8G1, is also available on Ozon and covers FAW X80/Haima 3/BYD F3R compatibility. Installation procedure centers on wire-color matching to the connector^{567891011121314}.
