A multi-layer soundproofing system reported for the X80: (1) first layer — 4 mm vibration-damping material (SGM Альфа 4) for floor, hood, roof, doors; (2) second layer — 6 mm impact-resistant foam (SGM Silshot) for floor and trunk; (3) third layer — 2 mm thin damping (SGM Альфа 2) for doors; (4) fourth layer — 4 mm sound- absorption foam (SGM Silton) for door interiors; (5) wave foam (DreamCar 25) for door cards and around speakers; (6) anti-squeak tape at contact points and clips. Door-frame arcs and sides use a thicker Альфа 3. Around speaker cones, apply foam laminates for improved midrange response. Typical DIY material cost is reported as much lower than a 35,000–40,000 RUB (RU market, August 2024) dealer quote for the same job ^123456789.
