X80 models with electric seat adjustment have a mechanical backup adjustment built in. A long lever/tube mechanism under the seat can be pulled upward to move the seat forward when the electric system reaches its travel limit. To use: locate the mechanical lever under the front of the seat, pull it upward to unlock the seat and allow manual forward/backward movement.
