Motivation — preventive fitment around 80,000 km (2024-08 report). Some owners add an auxiliary AKPP cooling radiator around 80,000 km as a preventive measure, rather than waiting for symptoms. The motivation cited: community reports of an AKPP failure at 165,000 km attributed to overheating on a car without an auxiliary cooler. This preventive-fitment reasoning is separate from (and complements) the cost breakdown above; see the ATF fluid and intervals card for the fuller partial-vs-full fluid-change context this recommendation appeared alongside.^34567891011
