One owner reported being told by a dealer that the chain should be changed at 90,000 km; another community member notes that per the official maintenance regulations, the relevant check/interval points are around 50,000 km and 100,000 km — so owners should verify the exact interval against their own market's official service schedule rather than relying on a single dealer's verbal claim.⁵⁶

Chain/sprocket inspection at high mileage (2025-01 report). At a 100,000 km service, the timing chain and sprockets should be inspected for wear/stretch as a matter of course.⁷

A community member listed a complete original FAW timing-drive kit for sale, part number LF01-12-006 (a 7-piece kit), manufactured in Changchun, China, and confirmed as genuine FAW-original equipment for X80 models — offered with regional shipping within Russia.
