The right-hand drive shaft of the X80 runs through an intermediate (support) shaft; this card collects what owners posted in September-October 2026 about that shaft, its bearing and the automatic-transmission right shaft. For the left/right shaft numbers, CV joints and seals see drive shafts, CV joints and axle seals ¹².

Automatic-transmission right shaft 5CA12550X. Victor 🇷🇺 names the right drive shaft assembly of the automatic (AKPP / АКПП) car as 5CA12550X, listed at about 10,000 RUB at Emex (RU market, September 2026), and was not sure the listing was original. He says only the inner CV joint (ШРУС) can be replaced separately, and did not know whether the AT intermediate shaft matches the manual one. For a manual car he says a febest 0512-6gg shaft is the same length ¹³.

Intermediate shaft bearing. Victor 🇷🇺 names the bearing as 62062RS (i.e. 6206-2RS). In that thread he said the metal-shielded version is the 62062RS and the "2RS" version has plastic seals, and that he paid about 320 RUB (RU market, September 2026); Arсhi 77 bought the same kind for about 250-300 RUB (RU market, September 2026) and notes that dealer kits charge many times more ²⁴⁵⁶⁷. Victor also quoted about 5,000 RUB (RU market, September 2026) for a complete febest intermediate shaft with bearing and seals, fitted to a manual car; the AT length was unknown to him ⁷⁸.

Do AT and MT parts interchange? Victor 🇷🇺 says the intermediate bearing is the same across Mazda 6 applications and that factory shafts come in lengths of 398-400 mm and 410 mm, but that the intermediate support differs between manual and automatic ⁹¹⁰. Arсhi 77 disagrees on the safe approach: part articles differ even when diameters match, a bearing or seal with a different working edge may not sit on the shaft and can leak soon, and he advises against experimenting; asked whether the bearing is the same for AT and MT he gave no certain answer ¹¹¹².

6206 bearing: brands and size. The 6206 is 30 x 62 x 16 mm; the sealed variant is written 6206-2RS (the SKF 6206-2RS1 listing Victor shared on vseinstrumenti.ru, which he described as genuine) ¹³¹⁴. Victor advises avoiding FAG (фаг), which he says is mostly counterfeit, and the ZZ variants, which have metal shields instead of rubber seals; Koyo is acceptable if genuine, and NTN lists the rubber-sealed version as 6206LLU ^1516171819. The messages do not restate which assembly this bearing is for.

6206 prices (RU market, September 2026). About 900 RUB at the Autodoc distributor; 250-550 RUB on Ozon and Wildberries, which Victor considers counterfeit; about 1,500 RUB for a special order at a parts store; Victor also recalls a genuine SNR 6206.EE at a Renault dealer for about 800 RUB roughly five years earlier ^20212223.
