Key chip copying and replacement

Prices and suppliers on this page are Russian-market (RUB, at the dates shown). Verify locally before relying on them in Syria.
Multiple owners attempted to have the X80's key chip copied/cloned at different locksmith/auto-electronics services (at least two separate locations attempted, including one in Krasnoyarsk). All attempts failed to replicate the chip.
Only working option: order an entirely new key from FAW and have it programmed into the vehicle. Reported cost: approximately 12,000 RUB per new key (RU market, September 2024), including programming. Standard third-party key-cloning services are unable to handle the X80's key chip 123.
