Sourcing parts reliably — tools and caution

Cross-reference lookup tool. The DROM database (Drom.ru's parts database / "Drom baza" app) provides a comprehensive cross-reference of OEM and aftermarket parts by vehicle model, including part codes and compatible alternates across manufacturers. It's useful for identifying Mazda-compatible components and confirming fitment before purchase — open the DROM database, pick the vehicle and "all cities," and it surfaces brake pads, hubs, and other parts with their codes and analogs ¹²³.

Retailer reliability cautions, especially on Ozon and similar marketplaces ^45678910: 1. Counterfeit risk exists for popular items (engines, filters, spark plugs) — one example: a refurbished engine sold as new at a discounted price (160,000 RUB, RU market, July 2025, vs. a ~230,000 RUB RU-market rate (July 2025) for genuinely new), with repair marks visible despite the "new" listing. 2. Photo mismatches are common — some sellers copy stock photos from the internet but ship a different or lower-quality item than pictured. 3. Return policies are restrictive for parts imported from outside Russia (China/Asia) — Ozon has claimed such items are non-returnable, and disputes with sellers often fail. 4. One specific specialist retailer, kitzapchasti.ru, has a mixed reputation — some community members report no issues, while others cite incomplete listings and photo-accuracy problems. Conflict: this remains disputed within the community rather than settled. 5. Best practice recommended by the community: use well-known local shops or Mazda OEM dealers for cross-fit parts, and request pre-shipment photos when ordering critical/expensive components.

Specific supplier: rear door handles/cables/locks (Sept 2025). kitzapchasti.ru carries rear door handles, cables, and locks for the X80: https://kitzapchasti.ru/catalog/Faw/FAW-X80/kuzov/ruchki-trosa-dveri-zamki/ ¹¹¹².

Specific supplier: Moscow Avito seller, 2018-model parts (April 2026). A Moscow-based Avito seller specializes in FAW X80 parts sourced from disassembled 2018-model cars, including rare items such as BSM (body control module) units. Search "X80" within the seller's profile for current inventory ¹³¹⁴.

Bulk OEM order experience — mastergtr75 (May 2026). One owner ordered a complete set of front-suspension-area body components (door, fender, hinges, door seals) from factory-authorized seller mastergtr75: total 85,000 RUB for parts + 13,000 RUB delivery (RU market, May 2026). Shipping was handled by the "Delovyye Linii" (Business Lines) freight carrier with cargo insurance; the buyer reported a reasonable delivery timeframe and reliable service ¹⁵¹⁶.
