Wheel hub bearings — part numbers and defects

Assembly design. The front wheel hub on the X80 is a complete, sealed assembly — bearings cannot be replaced individually; only the whole hub is exchanged ¹. Some hub variants differ only in whether they carry an ABS sensor (marked with an "A" or "B" suffix on the part code), but the core bearing assembly itself is the same across those variants ¹².

Part numbers. Front hub: 5CA033047B ³⁴. An earlier message reported part numbers FA012615X and FA012615XB as functionally equivalent — the hub is double-sided and the "B" suffix appears to reflect catalog/documentation differences rather than an actual functional difference between suppliers ⁵⁶.

Quality / defect check. A correctly assembled rear hub bearing's outer race must be firmly pressed in and should not move by hand. Maximum allowable rim runout is 0.3 mm (equivalent to 0.09 mm of bearing radial play). If the bearing race can be pulled out by hand, this indicates an improper press fit or a counterfeit part — such hubs are considered 100% defective and should be rejected before installation. Cheap suppliers have been reported to grind serial numbers off defective units to obscure their origin ⁴⁷⁸⁹¹⁰.

Mazda cross-compatibility. A rear wheel hub bearing that failed (audible noise) was successfully replaced with a Mazda-sourced part and has worked fine since ¹¹¹².

Availability. Rear wheel hub bearing sourcing was reported as difficult in Siberia: typical wait was 1+ week from major cities (Moscow, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk). One user searched roughly 1,500 km across Biysk, Kemerovo, and Krasnoyarsk without finding local stock. Suggested alternatives: check Kia-branded parts if regionally available (exact cross-model unclear), or order via nationwide online retailers (e.g. Wildberries) for 2–4 day delivery ^{1314151617181920}.

Prices over time (RUB, RU market, front hub / hub assembly): - Feb 2025 — front wheel hub bearing (part 5CA033047B): KitParts online 7,900 RUB (+ shipping); Avito marketplace 7,900+ RUB; ChinaSpare 5,600–6,000 RUB (out of stock as of Feb 2025, restock expected March) — ChinaSpare typically cheaper but with longer lead times ^{3212223242526}. - Feb 2025 — hub assembly (ступица): Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan) supplier 8,000 RUB (RU market); Moscow dealer without delivery ~15,500 RUB — significant regional variation. One owner accidentally ordered 2 units and resold the extra for 8,000 RUB (RU market, February 2025) ^{2728293031323334}. - March 2025 (RU market) — front hub assembly: Wildberries 4,789 RUB (Sept purchase, order #21026); KitParts 13,000–17,000 RUB (month prior); Ozon 13,000–14,000 RUB with delivery; direct-from-China via a member contact 8,000 RUB. Prices reported as volatile; Ozon stock limited ^353637383940. - April 2025 (RU market) — part 5CA033047B, wide vendor spread: AliExpress 4,000–6,000 RUB + ~2,000 RUB shipping; Moscow retail market ~15,000 RUB; local service shops 21,000+ RUB; a Samara-based Avito seller offered 3-day delivery to Kazan via Boxberry. Many of these units carry no factory marking, likely originating from Chinese foundries rather than the OEM supply chain. Installation labor reported at 3,000–5,800 RUB (RU market, April 2025) depending on region; one shop charged just 3,000 RUB total to replace both front hubs, while another quoted 27,300 RUB for the part alone in Kazan — a huge spread even within the same period ^{4142434445464748}. - June–July 2024 (RU market): 5,500–7,000 RUB per unit. One member noted the price had dropped to half its value from a year prior (was ~15,000 RUB in June 2023, RU market) — prices can spike unpredictably, leading some owners to pre-buy spares ⁴⁹⁵⁰. - July 2026 (RU market; supplier vs. retail spread): supplier ("Vasily") pricing (RU market, July 2026) — front hub ~9,500 RUB; retail/aftermarket alternatives — front hub 5,000–6,000 RUB, rear hub ~3,500 RUB. OEM wheel hub part 5CA033047B ~4,200 RUB on Emex (RU market, July 2026) ^515253545556. A more precise Emex catalog listing for the same part, seen the same week, showed 3,965–4,141 RUB (RU market, July 2026) across multiple sellers with slight price variation, ~15 units in stock and 7-day delivery ⁵⁷⁵⁸. - August 2026 — front hub bearing (СТУПИЦА), part FAW X80 (same 5CA033047B family): Ozon listing 5,900 RUB (RU market, August 2026); the identical seller's listing through the ZZap app (a Moscow-focused parts app with self-pickup options) was only 3,500 RUB for the same product — Ozon's markup over ZZap's direct price was substantial ⁵⁹⁶⁰⁶¹.

Rear hub assembly — KitZapchasti.ru listing. Aftermarket supplier kitzapchasti.ru carries the complete rear hub assembly, part number FC012615X. Stock varies — check availability before ordering ⁶².
