Factory speed limiter — ECU tuning to raise it
Tags: #ecu-tuning · #fuel-pump
The factory ECU cuts fuel at 200 km/h in D-mode and at 215–218 km/h in Sport mode, despite the speedometer being marked up to 240 km/h12. Solution to raise the limit: ECU flash plus a fuel pump upgrade. One user reports an original limit of 175 km/h, and after tuning, 200+ km/h became achievable with an increased-capacity fuel pump34. Disagreement in the community: some question whether ECU tuning for top speed is worth it on this car at all, with one user suggesting it would make more sense to simply buy a different, faster car instead4.
