Heater motor vibration caused by debris
Tags: #heater · #hvac · #vibration
Vibration from the heater motor (мотор печки) is commonly caused by debris or leaves getting into the intake. The motor can be removed for inspection by taking out 3 screws — about a 10-minute job1. If the cabin air filter was recently replaced, check it for damage: small parts may have fallen into the motor housing during the service2. Also inspect the perforated divider/baffle inside the heater box to make sure it is properly seated, since a dislodged baffle can also cause noise/vibration12.
