Warning: online marketplace scam sellers for X80 parts

Tags: #part-number

Caution against purchasing car parts from unknown sellers on online marketplaces claiming to have FAW X80 parts. Documented case: a seller from the Tyumen region claimed to have an X80 door for sale, received payment, but never sent the part and disappeared from contact¹²³. Similar scams were detected using the same photos across multiple listings from different cities and different seller names — a strong indicator of photo theft from real listings, used to run parallel scam ads⁴⁵. Recommendation: use Avito or other trusted platforms with verified seller ratings, and pay via secure methods offering buyer protection (partial prepayment with the balance on delivery/inspection is safer than full prepayment)⁶.
