Tire size 235/65 R17 does not fit the X80
Tags: #tires
235/65 R17 tires are too large for the FAW Besturn X80 body and suspension — they physically mount, but the steering will bind/hit the wheel arch when turning, confirmed against a tire-size comparison calculator123. Not a viable upgrade for a 2018 restyle model or, by extension, the platform generally. Stick with the factory 215/60 R17, or if a taller/wider tire is wanted, keep within a comparable overall diameter (e.g. 225/60 R17) rather than jumping to 235/65 R17.
Separately, multiple owners reported losing air pressure gradually over about 3 days of driving with a self-tapping screw (саморез) embedded in the tire sidewall. Recommendation: check wheel alignment and get a professional tire diagnosis at a shop before simply replacing the tire, since sidewall damage combined with alignment issues can compound wear45.
