Broken springs. One owner heard a rattle over bumps and found a broken coil spring (пружина лопнула) on one side that needed replacing; a member notes that a partly cracked spring can click while looking intact, so a visual check may miss it.12
SUFIX SZ1303. A member replaced a suspension spring with SUFIX SZ1303 (yellow) and says it fitted correctly; others recommended it as reinforced by 20%.3 It is a front spring that a member confirms fits the restyled car, and an owner has run it since summer 2025 without the car sagging.45 A KYB RA3347 front spring (L=R, Mazda 6 II, 2007 onward) was photographed at 5,370 RUB (RU market, August 2025), and a member preferred it to SUFIX.67 OBK C4T21642H is a reinforced Japanese-made spring listed as the Toyota Mark 2000-2004 part and commonly fitted to the Subaru Tribeca; the member who found it thinks the stiffness is more than the lighter X80 needs, though it could suit a heavier load.89
Soft springs and sag. An owner at 262,000 km found that weak springs bottom out on the internal bump stop (buffer), which spoils comfort on small bumps and fails under full load; he says no shims help, so the choice is air bags (пневмобаллоны) or stiffer springs. He reports that Mazda 6 wagon (GG) springs with the same wire thickness fit and work, and that a simple solution of air bags with 200 x 85 side-nipple fittings costs about 4,500 RUB (RU market, June 2025); another owner uses only Atenza springs for the same purpose.10111213 Another owner fitted two aftermarket springs and both lost height within a month; he went back to stock springs with air bags and says Stepwagon springs with a trimmed Zhiguli rubber spacer work, but the air bags carry most of the load.14
