Spacer recommendation. A 2 cm spacer installed with the springs is recommended by an owner with direct experience — without spacers the ride/geometry is reportedly "not great."⁴⁵⁶

Alignment is mandatory after the job. After rear suspension spring replacement, a wheel alignment (сход-развал) must be performed, done with the car in a proper loaded/settled state and with the wheel size that will actually be used.⁷⁶⁸⁹

Using GG springs with +40mm spacers may cause excessive ride height and poor handling. If a Mazda-based swap is attempted at all, community members lean toward parts from the GY (universal/wagon) Mazda 6 variant as the closer match — but this still needs verification via direct measurement or 3D scan of the actual spring parameters before assuming fitment.
