Rear spring spacer — Mazda 6 GH (2007-2013) rubber spacers: 30mm-thick rubber spring spacers (проставки) from a Mazda 6 GH (2007-2013) fit under the X80's rear springs. Purpose: (1) stiffen the rear suspension for carrying heavy loads; (2) prepare the suspension for a future air-bag/pneumatic-bellow upgrade. Installation is simple — the spacer just sits under the spring, no extra hardware needed. Caution: it increases spring preload and may increase shock-absorber stroke, so owners debate whether higher-rate springs and new shocks should be fitted at the same time. After a 2-week parking period the rubber can briefly squeak on the first drive, then lubricates itself with use. One load test — 300 kg of cargo plus 2 passengers — did not draw police attention for improper lowering 1.

40mm rear spacer — AutoDVC brand: an alternative rear spring spacer, 40mm thick, AutoDVC brand from Ozon. Reported: VAZ Classic-family spacers do not fit. The 40mm AutoDVC spacer raises the vehicle by about 3cm; the original factory spacer measures 10mm. Fitment is direct, with no modification needed 23.

Rear suspension is fully loaded even at rest — lift-spacer attempt unsuccessful: the X80's rear suspension is described as fully packed/ loaded even unladen (no sag margin). An attempt to install 30mm lift spacers under the rear springs failed due to suspension-geometry constraints — minimum clearance between the bump stop and the lower control arm was only ~13cm, which prevented spacer installation without a full geometry modification (adverse camber/caster changes). The owner reports 20mm spacers (mentioned as available from Mazda-parts suppliers on Ozon) would likely be more suitable. Recommendation: do not attempt aggressive rear lift modifications without professional geometry analysis and correction first 4.

Spacers preferred over spring-top bushings for raising rear ride height: when raising the rear, spacers installed between the spring and subframe are preferred over spring-top bushings — spacers preserve the spring's natural compliance/softness while still raising clearance, whereas bushings alter spring geometry unfavorably. One contributor (KASPER) recommends spacers as the correct approach specifically to avoid degrading suspension characteristics while gaining clearance 56.

Weak rear springs even after a complete rebuild, fixed with stiffer springs + spacer blocks (Jan 2026): after a complete rear suspension rebuild (new springs, shocks, bushings, and stabilizer components), one owner's vehicle still bounced excessively and bottomed out on speed bumps. Root cause: the replacement springs, despite being new, were weaker than the originals. Fix: substitute stiffer springs (again sourced from the Mazda universal-fit options documented elsewhere on this card) and add polyurethane spacer/lift blocks (бафферы) to increase clearance and damping 789101112. The spacer blocks used add up to 40mm of ground clearance and can be cut/halved to customize the lift height — one owner split factory 40mm blocks in half for 20mm each; available on OZON, compatible with aftermarket spring setups 131415.

Rear suspension spacer shims — Clearance-Plus, Mazda 6 GH-spec (March 2026): 30mm rubber spacer shims (проставки), Clearance-Plus brand, designed for the Mazda 6 GH (2007–2013), available via Ozon (https://ozon.ru/t/TztOuYQ). These add +30mm at the rear and were used specifically to correct the front/rear height imbalance that followed a front-spring replacement — see the front springs card for the full context. They eliminate body scraping while restoring a balanced stance; tested by multiple users with positive results 1617181920.

Rear spring + 20mm spacer combo — installed report (Zekkert, March 2026): one owner installed new Zekkert-brand rear springs together with 20mm polyurethane clearance spacers under them in the same session (product: "Проставки увеличения клиренса задних пружин ... +20мм", polyurethane, listed for FAW Besturn X80 2013–2021 on Ozon). This is the same springs-plus-spacer combination documented in general terms elsewhere on this card, confirmed here as a specific completed installation 212223.

Rear spacer rated +20mm delivers only +10mm real lift; PTFE spacers need trimming: rear suspension spacers advertised as +20mm may only deliver about +10mm of real lift if the factory rubber mounts are already ~10mm thick — actual results can be well short of the advertised figure. PTFE/plastic spacers often need their edges cut/filed down to clear the surrounding rubber components before they'll seat properly. One owner bought a cheap Ant-brand PTFE spacer for about 1,000₽ as an experiment for the rear lift; a discussion partner separately tried a thicker 40mm spacer on the same basis. See the front lift-spacers card for the front-specific version of this same effective-vs-advertised-lift issue 242526272829.

Rear spacers +15mm combined with Mazda GG/GY spring packs — softer ride, ~2.5cm lower: installing +15mm rear spacers together with Mazda 6 GG or GY spring packs produces a noticeably softer, "wallowy" rear end and lowers the car by roughly 2.5cm compared to stock. One owner reported this combination made the rear feel too soft for speed bumps (more pronounced bounce landing off them) but better suited to hauling cargo (tested with a load of pumpkins) 3031323334353637.

Rear spacers (lift and material). Ozon sells 30 mm polyurethane rear clearance spacers for the X80 (2013-2021) 38. Owners report that 30 mm spacers give about 2 cm of extra height 3940. Serega says rubber spacers compress about 1 cm under load while polyurethane (PU) holds much better, so he advises at least 3 cm of PU; rubber ones are "complete junk" 4041. For 20 mm sets, an AutoDVC set (red banner, labelled for the 2018-2022 restyle, 2 pieces, 5-year warranty) and a Polimer set (orange banner, labelled for 2013-2021) were compared 4243; the Ozon card lists article 2063221107, part number 2061-20-82304, polyurethane, made in Russia 44. Victor says the orange-banner type needs reworking and the red-banner set has the better shape 4546. The material is disputed: Serega says the "left" (orange) spacers are plain rubber and polymer (polyurethane) is better 47, while Владимир Хохлов points out the listing for those on the left reads polyurethane 48. Владимир bought new 20 mm spacers on Ozon for about 2,000 RUB per pair (RU market, Sep 2026) 49; Victor estimated shipping a set to Kaliningrad at about 800 RUB (Sep 2026) and warned it is awkward 50.
