Part numbers and what is sold

Part number: FC012615X, the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly.¹² A rear hub assembly listed under FA012615XB (marked "NEW" on the marketplace listing, sold on Ozon) appears to be a labeling variant of the same part rather than a different one; treat FC012615X and FA012615XB as the same assembly until a discrepancy is confirmed.³⁴⁵ A later, independent report (March 2026) reconfirmed FA012615XB as the complete rear hub assembly, available on OZON.⁶⁷

It is sold only as a complete sealed assembly — individual bearings cannot be serviced, reamed or replaced separately.²⁸ A follow-up question about a standalone rear-right bearing part number was answered directly: the rear hub bearing is not sold separately and must be replaced as the full assembly (FA012615XB, "NEW" on marketplace listings), available on Ozon and similar retailers.⁹¹⁰¹¹ The assembly is also available from Wildberries and Avito.¹

Design and serviceability

Mazda 6. Install the new hub, torque the nut and peen (stake) the nut collar to lock it. No puller or other special tool is required. Reassemble the caliper and wheel and drive.^77787980

A 2025-04 report describes the same job as removing the brake caliper (суппорт) and unbolting the hub, with no difference between the left and right sides.⁸¹⁸²⁸³ A detailed 2026-05 walkthrough corrects the socket size: use a 36 mm socket, not 32 mm, which is easy to assume incorrectly. Remove the caliper together with its mounting bracket (keep the two assembled), leave the brake disc in place (it is held on by friction alone; no bolts secure it to the hub), then replace the bearing. Clean the brake pads after removal with a dedicated pad-spreader tool. Hub nut torque is 240–270 Nm, achievable with a battery-powered impact driver.
