Stabilizer bar bushing replacement
Prices and suppliers on this page are Russian-market (RUB, at the dates shown). Verify locally before relying on them in Syria.
Failure mode. Stabilizer bar bushings harden significantly over time (from ~5.5mm original thickness becoming rock-hard) — reported at around 48,000 km. Once hardened, they let the stabilizer bar shift sideways, causing it to contact the frame and suspension arms.123
Replacement without lift equipment or a pit. - Right side: removable through top access with a 14mm socket and extensions, working from under the hood — relatively easy. - Left side: more problematic. The front bolt removes with a 14mm key, but the upper bolts conflict with the steering rack, complicating access. The rear bolt is difficult to reach with standard tools without improvised/creative approaches.
Reassembly is harder than removal, given the same access constraints in reverse. Alignment verification is recommended afterward to confirm proper fitment/geometry.123
Shop labor pricing (2024-06 report). At a budget-tier service shop, stabilizer bar bushing replacement labor was priced at 1,000 RUB (RU market, June 2024) (1k) per bushing. The service was described as a difficult DIY task specifically because the bushings are press-fit and sometimes require burning out (heat) to remove, consistent with the stretched/stuck-bolt and access difficulties documented above — reinforcing that this job is a reasonable candidate for outsourcing to a shop rather than DIY for owners without the right tools/patience.456
Community-shared "hack" article (2025-12). A Drive2 article (referenced as "article #9" in the group) documents a workaround/improvised technique (referred to colloquially as "костылинг", literally "crutching it") for replacing stabilizer bar bushings without full disassembly access — multiple community members pointed to it as a known, worth-trying solution for the left-side access difficulty described above.78
Article numbers. The front stabilizer bushing (втулка стабилизатора переднего) is listed under 5CA034156 at kitzapchasti and kitzap, and a member says many shops stock it, so the article is the easiest way to search.910 The FAW X80 catalogue numbers are 5CA028156 (rear) and 5CA034156 (front); Masuma bushings fitting the Mazda 6 GG are rear centre MP-1036 (2002-2003) and front MP-1037 (GG/GY 2002-2007).111213
